Whaa, Another One?

I know, I've been on quite a blogging streak since having finished this part of the site; I'm really quite enjoying it, even more than virtually any other blogging site. 😤✨ Not to rag on them though, because I do enjoy the social aspect of them sometimes. It's just that, more often than not, they lack ease of use and interoperability, but moreso the former. Do you ever just go on Tumblr or literally any mainstream (micro)blogging website and noticed how clunky and unintuitive posting stuff sometimes is, especially when you want most of your audience to see your posts? It even sometimes takes me more than an hour to make a blog post because of this.

Post-con Thoughts

Is it really post-con depression if you weren't able to go to the convention yourself?

Well, that's been my thought for the past weekend. Although I was able to catch the Main Events stream and try out the Furality Gateway instance for one day, the matter of fact is that I *was* originally going to be at the convention this year. It all started back in March, when the room block for Megaplex '23 opened this year. I was about to head into work at the time when I got the notification in the Telegram Channel, so I hurriedly reserved my room in hopes of securing it in time, eager to attend after a 1-year hiatus. Then, I went on my merry way.

This Is Happening!?

Hello! Well, this is certainly happening. I've been meaning to implement this kind of page for a while, as I have a web server with somewhat limited resources. The problem was finding the time to convert my site template into something a static site generator can understand. Last weekend happened to be one of those times. Time and time again I've been trying to use software like Wordpress to make my blog site, but with a complete lack of understanding of the theming system and other complexities involved with running such a CMS, I'd decided that a static site generator with a dedicated templating engine would be a good fit for me; and right I certainly was.
