Not the blog entry that I expected to make, but it's related to someone who had (indirectly) been a big part of my online life in the past decade. I'll keep it short and sweet.
Somewhat belated but that's pretty much a wrap! Thanks to all who exchanged some wonderful art with me. I think this has been one of my most productive Art Fights since 2022, and just as productive as 2018, too. I think the one difference is that I did not burn myself out this time! I had a more consistent and concrete schedule for my Attacks, mostly thanks to the use of a kanban-style board. More specifically, Trello. Ok, maybe it is a bit of a shameless plug but it's a good one! Promise.
It's not super urgent but I got dental work done today and it put a deep hole in my pocket. I'm opening up paid work once again through my Ko-Fi to recover surprise expenses. I'll keep these open thru August 15th or until I run out of slots, whichever comes first; this way I can adequately prepare for the upcoming convention (Megaplex '24) while working on art!
Oh yeah, one more thing I wanted to mention! Kind of late but I am doing Art Fight this year and I can say it's already a great start for me.
