Hello! Well, this is certainly happening. I've been meaning to implement this kind of page for a while, as I have a web server with somewhat limited resources. The problem was finding the time to convert my site template into something a static site generator can understand. Last weekend happened to be one of those times. Time and time again I've been trying to use software like Wordpress to make my blog site, but with a complete lack of understanding of the theming system and other complexities involved with running such a CMS, I'd decided that a static site generator with a dedicated templating engine would be a good fit for me; and right I certainly was.

Anyways, I finally have an on-site blog now and I'm happy with it! Heck, I might even use this more than some of the other blogs I run currently; either that or anyone viewing my blog entries on here will get first dibs before I crosspost them elsewhere—which reminds me of another nice thing: 100% of my entries published here will be written in Markdown, which a lot of blogging sites actually use nowadays, so it'll make crossposting a breeze. :3
