Hello all, I've made this entry to announce the creation of my new webring, Chao Ring. What is a webring, you ask? Well, it's a circular network of web pages that share a particular theme/interest, which normally has a common navigation menu that anyone can use to browse the network. In this case, this intends to host a collection of web sites that share their adoration for chao. It's a bit weird how it started, because one day I was falling behind on laundry and saw someone talking about webrings on social media and then I decided to look at some widgets, more particularly the onionring.js widget.

That night I was looking through the source code and thought it might be reasonable for me to have a crack at making it my own given my Javascript, HTML and CSS experience. The theme I decided upon was chao, which of course is given my fondness for the Chao Garden in the Sonic Adventure games and.. Well, just look at my fursona, lol. Modifying the widget code did not come without some difficulties, especially as I had needs that slightly differed from the original source code but for the most part it's ready to go!

This is where you readers come in; I know some of you reading this blog entry probably like chao, I certainly do! I have more info on this webring and how to apply for it on this page. It is also my first time managing a webring myself; hopefully it all goes smoothly. Other than that, not much to say other than looking forward to seeing more of you become part of this growing network of web pages!
